Hello. My name is Andre and I’m a Brazilian art director passionate about fashion, tennis and graphic design.
My professional journey began in 2017, when I worked as an English and Portuguese instructor at Berlitz. While the role was enriching and offered valuable insights into communication, I knew my true passion lay
in visual storytelling and art direction—a field I was deeply immersed in during my Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Communication at PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo).
In 2019, I was granted the opportunity to study abroad, spending a semester in San Antonio, Texas, where I pursued Communication Arts at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW).
This international experience broadened my creative perspective and solidified my interest in design and branding on a global scale.
Upon returning to Brazil in 2020, I began working as a Communication & Design Intern at B-ON Nutrição Inteligente, marking my first hands-on experience in graphic design. Shortly thereafter, I joined Ketchum—a global
PR agency—as a Digital Performance Intern. There, I analyzed digital and press campaigns for the Procter & Gamble (P&G) beauty segment across Latin America. As part of a collaborative team, I helped implement a Design Thinking methodology across key campaigns for brands such as Pantene, Aussie, Head & Shoulders, and Herbal Essences.
Around the same time, I also took on freelance roles as a Designer and Fashion Producer at boutique agencies Cbrands and T.Office, both focused on the fashion industry. I was responsible for producing fashion films, editorials, advertising materials, motion graphics, and art assets for social media across brands like Birkenstock, Lena, Lotti, Gabriela Susanna, and Casa das Cuecas. These experiences deepened my passion for fashion
and design.
In early 2021, I joined FILA as a Graphic Designer and Art Director. This role allowed me to refine my skills and grow as a creative professional. I was initially tasked with developing moodboards, Key Visuals (KVs), and a range
of digital and physical assets for both B2B and B2C channels—including retail, e-commerce, and outlets. My work spanned several categories, such as running, tennis, and fashion. I also collaborated closely with agencies
and freelance creatives on high-visibility projects.
After completing my degree at PUC-SP and a course from MoMA titled Fashion as Design, I was promoted in mid-2022 to lead the creative direction for FILA's Tennis and Fashion segments, including brand collaborations.
In this role, I oversaw art direction for campaigns, editorials, brand activations, and creative materials. I also led the alignment of FILA’s creative direction across Brazil and Latin America with global brand guidelines.
I had the privilege of working on global campaigns such as FILA x ROKSANDA x FARFETCH and FILA x HAIDER ACKERMANN, leading everything from visual identity to photoshoots and event branding.
After more than three years at FILA, I embraced a new chapter as Graphic Design & Art Direction Coordinator at Schutz, an international brand within Arezzo&Co/Azzas 2154—the largest fashion group in Latin America.
In this leadership role, I am responsible for the brand’s visual communication in both Brazil and the United States. I lead the creative direction for all campaigns and editorials across both markets (including Schutz US),
while developing cohesive design systems and Key Visuals that reflect the brand's identity. I also manage and mentor a team of four designers who create visual assets across digital platforms and physical retail spaces
— supporting over 90 stores in Brazil and 2 in the U.S.
